As school comes to a close I want to wish all our members a safe and wonderful summer holiday!
EMEA is working hard to bring new professional development and learning opportunities for our members in the coming school year.
- Next week, I travel to Washington DC to attend the NAfME National Assembly and meet with all of the state presidents. During that time we will work on ways to improve membership, advocate for music on Capitol Hill and much more.
- EMEA is working closely with the Federal Education Association (FEA) with a grant that was received by our past-president Alina Rozanski. Together we will work on providing professional development opportunities for the development and integration of the National Core Standards for DoDEA music.
- Congratulations to EMEA member Mr. Rob Loe and his student Ashley-Jane. Ashley-Jane auditioned and made the NAfME All-National Mixed Choir. She will travel to Grapevine, TX to sing at the NAfME In-Service Conference. November 10-13, 2016
- Don’t Forget: EMEA Fall Conference will be November 4-5, 2016 in Kaiserslautern, Germany. Keep checking our website for more information. Fall Conference 2016
